Take Stock! 2 Day Stock Class! Noon – 1:30

Chef Mark is introducing a monthly series of two-day courses, touching on cooking basics! This first class will be on preparing Stocks, the basis of many dishes, particularly soups and sauces. Classes are held over two consecutive days, from 12:00 noon to 1:30.

Day One of “Take Stock” will be learning to make a basic brown stock. Day two is making Beef Consommé made from the brown stock! Day two is topped off with preparing Chicken Sinatra from Marco’s Italian Cafe menu. Prepare Sautéed chicken breast in a red wine sauce with mushrooms, fresh tomatoes served over pasta.

Two to Tango – Date Night Dinner, Italian Style

Bring your date and join Chef Mark for this amazing class where you will learn how to make a tantalizing Italian meal! There’s just something romantic about cooking together! A shared Antipasto platter starts this delicious evening, just as it would in Italy. Then Chef prepares Langostino Bruschetta, which is sweet lobster bites on toasted bread. Main course is Mussels Fra Diavalo, Fra diavolo means “brother devil” in Italian and refers to a spicy, tomato-based sauce. This evening includes dinner and complimentary wine!

Get a taste of authentic Bavaria with this German inspired cuisine. Chef Mark kicks it off by preparing German Ham-Wrapped Figs with a Marinated Bean Salad and Hazelnuts. The star of the Fest is Sweet Mustard Crusted Pork Tenderloin, served in a Dark Beer Sauce with Brussel Sprout Leaves. Tenderloin is accompanied with crispy potato pancakes with a creamy Sauerkraut.  This evening includes dinner and complimentary wine and beer.

Next up on this culinary pub crawl is Mojito Glazed Pork Skewers with Cilantro and Garlic sauce followed by Margarita Marinated Grilled Chicken Tacos with Lime Crema and Pickled Onions.
